Bluffline, Inc. is bringing one of the South’s most influential urban leaders to Pensacola. Greenville, South Carolina, Mayor Knox White will headline a special evening event on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pensacola Opera Center.

A nationally recognized leader in urban revitalization and economic development, Mayor White has spearheaded transformative projects such as the Swamp Rabbit Trail and Unity Park, positioning Greenville as a model city for sustainable growth and community engagement. Under his nearly three-decade tenure, Greenville has become one of the Southeast’s most cited examples of how thoughtful investment in public space can anchor broader economic and cultural renewal.

The event will feature a keynote address by Mayor White, an interactive Q&A session, and a brief award presentation honoring local contributions to Pensacola’s greenway initiatives. Attendees will enjoy wine and light hors d’oeuvres while engaging with local leaders, planners, and community advocates who share a vision for a greener, more connected Pensacola.

“Mayor White’s leadership has reshaped Greenville, proving that public spaces can be powerful catalysts for economic and social revitalization. As our community works to expand greenway access through The Bluffline, the Hollice T. Williams Greenway and other projects, his insights will help guide our efforts.” — T.S. Strickland, Bluffline co-founder and director of strategy and communications

Admission to the event is free, but space is limited, and RSVPs are required.
